Senior Insight Director - Targeted Marketing - £70k-£80k + Bonus + Benefits

We Work Recruitment are recruiting for a highly strategic Senior Insights Director for our global client who will be based 4days on client site in commuting distance of Yorkshire and 1 day a week homebased or Head Office in Bracknell.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading Data & Analytics provider who work with clients across Retail, FMCG, Healthcare and Media.

You will be a key member of the onsite team for one of their largest UK clients, utilising extensive industry knowledge to provide valuable insights into the client. You will be reporting into the Head of Client Partnership with matrix reporting into Head of Predictive Analytics.

The core focus for the Senior Insights Director will be to help the client understand data and create insights gathered from customer data (loyalty and non-loyalty) as well as all other available data sets e.g. Market Data, which are delivered via the company’s Insight Portal.

The Senior Insights Director - Targeted Marketing will focus on creating 121 personalisation insights and activation strategies alongside the Targeted Marketing team.

The ideal candidate will need to have an innovative and analytical mind, a passion for growing the client’s business through inspiring insight, combined with excellent interpersonal and engagement skills, to deliver an all-round service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Translation of client business objectives to key stakeholders

  • Development and ownership of Account plan

  • Delivery of strategic insight

  • Engagement/Relationship at stakeholder level

  • Strategic and tactical delivery

  • Ownership of relationship SLAs and delivery against contractual commitments

People Management:-

  • Line management of your Client’s onsite Targeted Marketing / Analytics teams

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience within FMCG, Retail or equivalent industry leading teams and consultative relationships.

  • Consults with clients to influence and challenge thinking to drive the company and the clients’ joint business agenda.

  • Seeks out and engages learning opportunities for direct reports and self and applies key learning

  • Builds and leverages mutually beneficial relationships and networks internally and with C-Suite

  • Demonstrated resiliency and sound judgement in dealing with business and corporate challenges

  • Demonstrated planning, leadership, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated breadth of industry knowledge and relates key trends to impact on clients

  • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications

  • Demonstrated strong understanding of client issues

  • Builds relationships with other data providers and seeks out complementary data sources

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Ability to develop creative ways to address business issues

  • Ability to inspire commitment and excellence and drive for results

  • Expertise with Group solutions

  • Able to effectively manage virtual and diverse teams through changing climate

  • Commercial and financial management with a deep understanding of P & L and margin management

  • Ability to influence internal stakeholders to maximise P&L
