Human Resources Business Associate – Egham – 1 year FTC - £25k - £30k on experience

We are recruiting for a HRBA to cover a 1 year contract with our client based in Egham. 

The ideal candidate would come from a HR Generalist type background who has experience in recruitment. We are seeking a candidate who has been in HR for a few years who’s gained experience across the various HR functions. Candidates do not need to be  CIPD qualified.

You will be working within a long standing, friendly and supportive HR team so personality fit will be key as well as experience.  

The prime responsibility of this role is to work with the Human Resources Business Partner / Manager / Leader in ensuring the implementation not only of the human resources policy and procedure but to enact and create a motivated and harmonious working climate for all personnel.  

Recruitment is also a key part of the support given from HR so experience delivering this is also key. 

The role encompasses the need to be able to build relationships and draw upon excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively cope with differing scenarios of personnel management. 

As the role has access to personnel information the need to ascertain confidentiality and trust management is an absolute must.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive interpretation of the company policy and procedures and maintain understanding of current employment law and in the impact within the working environment.

  • Supportive in driving recruitment strategy and maintaining adequate levels of potential candidates for interview and selection.

  • Provide an advisory, counselling and training service to management and all staff in matters relating to human resources management for the provision of good employee relations.

  • Ensure adherence to the company human resource policy and procedure through effective control mechanisms and remedial action i.e. disciplinary action, investigatory reviews, attrition.

  • Conduct and review feedback received from exit interviews and devise with line manager appropriate course of action/ enhancements as necessary. 

  • Be able to work both as an individual and member of the team.  

  • Additional projects or duties as the management may at times require

We are seeking a candidate with 2 to 3 years minimum experience who has gained experience across various HR functions.

You must be flexible and available to undertake and commit to a 1 year contract role. It is unlikely that this will be extended so would suit a candidate who is comfortable with this.
