Marketing Manager - £32k - Bracknell



We are delighted to be recruiting for this new role working as a Marketing Manager for our client based in Bracknell.



This role is working for a well established and growing software and services company.



With an established client base of large, blue-chip IT companies they are keen to rapidly grow the number of new accounts to take advantage of the market opportunity.



This will be a new Marketing function for the business so you will be tasked with establishing this from the ground up and will be commercially aware of what needs to be done to drive the business.



You will receive direction from the Directors but applicants will need to be self-sufficient and proactive.



You will be working with a limited marketing budget so this will be a hands on role with many of the functions being undertaken in house so would suit a candidate who enjoys being very hands on and who would be happy working in a stand-alone function.



Your target market will be Channel Partners of major IT vendors who would benefit from using the software platform that the company sell and provide.



Key to this role and growth plans for the business will be to develop and implement a go to market strategy that drives a measurable increase in revenues.



This role could suit a candidate fairly early in their career (Graduate with 2 years’ experience) or a more experienced professional looking for an opportunity to take on the challenge of heading up a marketing function.



Marketing experience within IT will be essential to the job role or a similar tech environment.



This is an exciting opportunity to be involved at every stage of the marketing cycle, from initial strategy development through to program implementation and measurement.



Job responsibilities would include:




  • Working with the CEO develop the marketing plan for the company in line with company objectives

  • Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities

  • Responsibility for the marketing budget

  • Planning and implementing social media campaigns

  • Measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns

  • Lead generation.

  • Creating a range of appropriate marketing strategies covering web, email communications, newsletters, corporate videos, presentations, Social Media, PR, Blogs and events.

  • Responsible for brand management and corporate identity

  • Acquiring good product knowledge and being able to position and present it effectively

  • Generating proposals for the sales team and providing sales support



Skills and competencies required for the role:




  • This role could suit someone early in their career either from university or with up to 2 years’ experience. More experienced professionals will also be considered.

  • Knowledge of strategic marketing

  • Relevant marketing qualifications

  • Able to use PowerPoint to produce professional, graphical and engaging content and be familiar with modern marketing techniques.

  • Analytical and project management skills

  • Creative

  • Outstanding communications skills
