Business Development Manager - £25k - £35k + OTE - Woking

Our client is a forward thinking and growing international technology company working within the travel sector.

We are working closely with them on a new position, due to growth, working within their B2B development team. You will be reporting into and working closely with the Sales Director to drive online brand awareness and sales growth.

You will be responsible for developing and winning new business across the UK and International B2B travel markets. You will work closely with the Sales team and Sales Director to develop business development strategies and to deliver against agreed revenue plans.

Your role will be highly active on Social Media, Networking, Events, Building Partnerships and New Business Revenue Streams and avenues for their product offerings.

This role will involve some face to face meetings and presentations but isn’t "field based" so is both internal and external offering variety.

A second language or multiple languages would be a benefit but not an essential requirement.

You will be used to building relationships with Senior Management (who will be the majority of your target market), but there will be some presentations at C Level involved within the role and you should be comfortable interacting with both large and small groups.

We would be keen to hear from candidates who have a travel background or who have sold into travel markets ie: Online Travel Agents, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Airlines, Hotel Groups, Cruise Liners etc.

Alternatively candidates from a technology related background could be a strong match for this role.

Critically you will be able to demonstrate excellent sales record acumen and transfer of skills and have 3 to 5 years sales experience behind you B2B.
