Product Marketer - Egham - £25k + excellent benefits



We are recruiting for our professional and successful international client in Egham for a Product Marketer.



So what exactly does the role of Product Marketer involve?



The role of the Product Marketer supports the sales teams to deliver the highest possible sales and margin from an assigned client portfolio. This is achieved through effective quoting of business opportunities and then managing the sales order process working with sales.



Through timely execution of quotes and by following up checks in the life cycle of an order, as a marketer you will consistently provide excellent customer service, and at times have to creatively find solutions to maximise opportunities and to resolve problems and issues as they arise within customer accounts.



You will be working alongside Sales to clearly understand the sales opportunity and customer strategy behind a quotation. THIS IS NOT A SALES ROLE HOWEVER!



You will then issue a competitive and complete quote to the customer within set time lines and follow up opportunities with all parties including sales, suppliers and customers.



You will be using the company CRM system as well as various other supplier systems to verify and collate customer data and ensure it’s kept up to date, to maximise the opportunities and ensure consistency in quoting and follow up.



Skills and Experience Required:



Experience working in an exact role to this is not required as the position is very specific to this client.



Roles that may be transferable into this opportunity include:

• Sales Coordinator / Sales Administrator

• Internal Sales Executive

• Customer Account Manager

• Product Support

• Bids / Quotations Coordinator

• Pricing Coordinator

• Sales Account Manager



However more importantly we are looking for candidates with strong logic and ability to make decisions and problem solve.



The right candidate will be able to quickly pick up the basics of the business industry and use your interpersonal skills to building solid relationships with suppliers and both internal and external customers.



Experience working within a business that operates internationally would be an advantage but not essential.
