Sales Account Manager (Fintech) - London - £28k - £32k + £10k OTE + Excellent benefits

We are delighted to be recruiting for our growing Fintech client based in London who are seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to join their team.

You will be a Graduate with 1 to 3 years sales, business development or account management experience gained within a Financial Services sector - B2B.

You will be keen to work for an exciting and growing Fintech business and be part of a dynamic business led by an experienced and motivated team who inspire their employees.

This role doesn’t involve any cold calling. You will be following up enquiries generated online and via marketing as well as leads coming through from the external BDM team from introducers.

Your objective is to take these enquiries to convert to sale and manage this process from cradle to implementation.

We are looking for exceptional relationship builders who enjoy working in a collaborative but independent environment. You will have all the support you need but will enjoy autonomy.

This role interacts heavily with Marketing, Credit, Operations, External Sales and Introducers.

You will be smart, able to grasp concepts quickly and enjoy working within a growing start up environment.


  • To grow the sales revenues and convert leads and enquiries

  • Maintain CRM with opportunities and updated account profiles

  • Achieve monthly targets

  • To maintain regular contact with clients and introducers

  • Promote the company solutions

  • Co-ordinate and provide support to managed accounts as required

  • Co-ordinate and support the external BDM’s on larger deals

  • Collaborate with other areas of the business and provide feedback and input to product development

  • Manage partnership channels and platform.

  • Provide follow up support for leads generated with regular updates on progression with pipeline

  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities

  • Solution Selling - To solve the customer problem by selling the solution

The Candidate:

  • A commanding desire to progress and succeed in sales

  • 1 - 3 years sales or related market / business experience

  • Financial services experience

  • B2B sales experience

  • Graduate

  • Ability to write succinct, crisp emails and an excellent telephone manner

  • Proactive in approach who enjoys autonomy
